WESTBOUND US 290, TEXAS — The westbound US-290 mainlane exit ramp to RM 1826 is fully closed between mile markers 0570 and 0568. The closure affects traffic just east of RM 1826, cutting off direct ramp access for westbound motorists.
TxDOT crews have shut down the ramp to carry out a work zone safety and punch list walk. Traffic management teams have implemented active detours to route drivers past the closed exit.
Work zone operations commenced at 7:00 AM and are scheduled to wrap up by 11:00 AM. Significant delays are being reported along the westbound corridor while the ramp remains inaccessible.
