FM-2517, TEXAS — Both eastbound and westbound lanes of FM-2517 are completely shut down near the FM-699 intersection at Mile Marker 0736. The closure spans from 216 feet west of FM-699 to 438 feet east of the junction, completely blocking travel through the corridor.
Traffic management crews have implemented a detour around the closure. Flag personnel are stationed at the scene directing traffic, and motorists are advised to use extreme caution when approaching the area.
The incident began at approximately 4:15 PM. Texas Department of Transportation officials project that the lanes will be cleared and reopened by approximately 6:00 PM.
