Law enforcement and emergency responders are on the scene handling the incident. With no official detour route established, highway crews are working to manage heavy congestion forming upstream of the closure.
According to state transportation officials, the incident is estimated to be cleared by approximately 4:00 p.m. Motorists traveling through Dallas County should prepare for extended travel times.
