WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — The entrance ramp to the westbound SH-121/183 (Airport Freeway) TEXpress lanes from the westbound general purpose lanes at Industrial Boulevard (FM 157) is currently closed. The closure is located between 0.24 miles and 0.59 miles west of FM 157 at mile marker 582 in Tarrant County.
TxDOT crews have established an active detour to maintain traffic flow. Westbound motorists are being directed to continue using the SH-183 general purpose lanes rather than accessing the TEXpress corridor at this interchange.
This is a designated nighttime-only closure. Operations are scheduled to conclude and the ramp is expected to fully reopen by 5:00 a.m. on October 30, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should account for the ramp closure when planning routes requiring managed lane access through the Mid-Cities area. We will update this report as conditions change or additional updates are released by TxDOT.
