EASTBOUND I-820, TEXAS — The entrance ramp to the eastbound I-820 TEXpress lanes at Denton Highway (US-377) is currently closed near mile marker 20. The closure affects traffic starting just east of US-377 and extends approximately 0.6 miles down the corridor in Tarrant County.
Traffic control crews have implemented active detours around the ramp. All eastbound commercial and passenger traffic is being maintained via the I-820 general purpose lanes, which remain open through the work zone.
This project operates as a nighttime closure beginning nightly at 9:00 p.m. and clearing by 5:00 a.m., with work extending until 6:30 a.m. on weekend mornings. The operation is scheduled to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on October 31, 2026.
