EASTBOUND I-820, TEXAS — All lanes of the eastbound I-820/SH 121/SH 183 TEXpress corridor will be fully closed from Texas Blvd. 26 to Industrial Blvd. (FM 157). The closure spans between Mile Marker 21 and Mile Marker 23 in Tarrant County.
The main general-purpose freeway lanes will remain open and are not affected by this closure. Traffic will be maintained by routing all vehicles through the general-purpose lanes to bypass the closed toll segments.
The nighttime closure is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM on October 27, 2026, with all lanes expected to reopen by 5:00 AM on October 28, 2026.
Commercial drivers and dispatchers should plan for lane shifts through the interchange area and anticipate minor delays approaching the merge points. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
