NORTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — A complete closure of the TEXpress managed lanes is currently in effect on northbound SH-121 (Airport Freeway), extending from just north of I-820 to east of SH-183. All toll lanes between Texas Boulevard 26 and Industrial Boulevard (FM 157) are shut down for overnight operations between mile markers 296 and 292.
The general-purpose main lanes remain fully open and unaffected by the work. Traffic crews have implemented a detour directing all managed-lane traffic into the standard general-purpose lanes to bypass the closed corridor.
The overnight restriction commenced at 9:00 p.m. on October 27 and is scheduled to reopen by 5:00 a.m. on October 28. While no major delays are currently reported, speeds may fluctuate near the closure transition zones.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers navigating through Tarrant County should expect standard lane configurations and exercise caution near merge points. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
