WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — The entrance ramp connecting to the westbound SH 121/183 TEXpress lanes at Industrial Boulevard (FM 157) is closed. The ramp closure affects travel on Airport Freeway from 0.3 miles west of FM 157 to 0.546 miles east of SH 121 at mile marker 0582.
TxDOT crews have established an active detour to maintain traffic through the corridor. Drivers traveling westbound are being routed to use the standard general-purpose lanes instead of the TEXpress managed lanes.
The nighttime closure is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. on October 27, 2026, and is estimated to reopen by 5:00 a.m. on October 30, 2026, operating during overnight hours only.
Commercial drivers and dispatchers traveling through Tarrant County should adjust toll routing plans and watch for merging traffic near Industrial Boulevard. We will update this report as TxDOT provides further information.
