WESTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — The westbound Interstate 30 entrance ramp from Harwood Street is fully closed just west of the Interstate 45 interchange. The closure is situated at mile marker 46 in Dallas County, completely blocking entry to westbound mainline traffic from this location.
Traffic management crews have implemented a detour to route traffic around the closed ramp. While westbound mainline lanes on I-30 remain open, entry access from Harwood Street is suspended.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the ramp closure began Friday night and is scheduled to remain in effect until Monday, October 26, 2026, at approximately 5:00 AM.
Motorists and commercial truck dispatchers should plan alternative entrance routes to westbound I-30 and follow posted detour signs. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
