EASTBOUND I-410, TEXAS — Major closures are in effect on eastbound Interstate 410 from near Spur 537 between Mile Markers 20 and 21. The eastbound I-410 exit ramp to San Pedro is completely shut down, along with the two right mainlanes and the left lane of the eastbound frontage road.
Crews have initiated the closure to conduct the scheduled demolition of the Blanco bridge over the exit ramp. A marked detour is actively redirecting affected traffic to exit at either Blanco Road or Airport Boulevard.
The operation commenced at 9:00 p.m. on October 23 and is scheduled to remain in place continuously until final clearance at approximately 5:00 a.m. on October 26.
Freight operators and dispatchers are advised to plan alternate routes across the corridor to avoid work zone bottlenecks. We will update this report if road conditions change or lanes reopen ahead of schedule.
