SOUTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — The entrance ramp connecting southbound SH-121 (Airport Freeway) to the westbound SH 121/183 TEXpress lanes is closed near Mile Marker 292, stretching from 0.49 miles east of SH-183 to 0.3 miles west of the interchange.
Traffic management personnel have designated a detour to keep vehicles moving through the corridor. Motorists navigating southbound SH-121 will be maintained entirely along the general purpose lanes during the closure.
This project is restricted to nighttime hours, beginning at 9:00 PM on October 27, 2026. Crews expect the recurring overnight closures to conclude and the ramp to reopen by 5:00 AM on October 30, 2026.
Commercial drivers and dispatchers are advised to plan for altered merge points and lane shifts throughout the overnight work zone. We will update this report as further conditions develop.
