FM 2933, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of FM 2933 are completely closed from approximately 1.2 miles to 1.7 miles north of FM 1827 due to active construction operations. The closure impacts both travel directions at Mile Marker 0236 between County Road 331 and County Road 335.
Work crews have shut down the roadway to facilitate a culvert replacement project. TxDOT has implemented an active detour, directing all commercial and passenger traffic around the construction zone via County Road 331 to County Road 335.
The roadway closure began at 7:00 a.m. on October 24, 2026, and is projected to remain in effect until approximately 5:00 p.m. on October 25, 2026.
Drivers and freight dispatchers are advised to anticipate localized delays, follow detour signage, or plan alternative routes around the work zone. We will update this report as additional information becomes available.
