FM-1325, TEXAS — Severe icy conditions and blowing snow have prompted significant delays and active detours on both eastbound and westbound FM-1325. The impacted segment extends between mile markers 0434 and 0432, stretching from 0.382 miles north of Burnet Road to 0.659 miles south of Loop 1. Black ice across the roadway has resulted in a maximum-severity impact alert.
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) winter maintenance teams are actively patrolling the corridor and plowing snow to mitigate hazardous surface conditions. Detours have been initiated to guide traffic away from the most dangerous stretches while treatment operations are underway.
TxDOT reports an initial operating window extending through July 30, 2027, at 4:45 PM, with clearance and reopening dependent on ongoing winter storm management and roadway conditions.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers are strongly advised to seek alternate routes, as low visibility and black ice present extreme driving hazards throughout the corridor. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
