EASTBOUND SH-99, TEXAS — All eastbound main lanes on SH-99 are completely closed between mile markers 0746 and 0744, roughly 4.4 miles west of FM-1314, following an accident early Sunday morning. The incident has halted all eastbound traffic through the corridor.
Emergency personnel and clearance crews are actively working at the crash site. Heavy delays are building rapidly in the area, and no official detour has been established for passing traffic.
TxDOT officials project that clearance operations will continue through the morning, with an estimated reopening time of 7:00 AM.
Travel through this section of SH-99 is strongly discouraged, and commercial operators and commuters should plan alternate routes. We will update this report as additional information becomes available.
