SOUTHBOUND US 75, TEXAS — A construction closure is currently affecting the southbound US-75 frontage road at FM-691 near Mile Marker 202. The dedicated southbound-to-northbound U-turn lane under the US-75 overpass is completely closed to traffic. The US-75 main travel lanes remain fully open and unaffected.
A detour is active to direct drivers around the closed turnaround. Motorists needing to reverse direction from southbound to northbound must proceed directly to the signalized intersection at FM-691 to complete the maneuver.
TxDOT records indicate this long-term construction project is slated to remain in place through approximately July 12, 2027.
Commercial operators and local traffic should anticipate minor signal delays when navigating the intersection turnaround. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
