WESTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — The direct flyover connector ramp from northbound and southbound I-45/US 75 to westbound Interstate 30 is scheduled for full nightly closures near Mile Marker 47. The high-severity closure affects the interchange transition from 480 feet east of I-45 to 649 feet south of I-45, completely shutting down the exit ramp during work hours.
Traffic management crews have implemented a formal detour system to route motorists and commercial freight safely around the work zone. While significant highway delays are not currently reported, the ramp closure requires full adherence to designated alternate routes.
The nighttime operations are scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026. TxDOT expects the overnight closures and work windows to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on November 2, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers routing through the downtown Dallas interchange should adjust schedules and plan for alternate connector routes during overnight hours. We will update this report as TxDOT provides further developments or schedule adjustments.
