The closure limits extend from 0.29 miles south of FM 281 to 0.34 miles north of the intersection, resulting in significant travel delays.
Crews have implemented a marked detour around the bridge repair site. Commercial drivers and motor carriers should take note that the Texas DMV is allowing no oversize or overweight permits through this corridor while the work is underway.
Work on the bridge commenced on September 1, 2026, and operations are currently estimated to continue through January 29, 2027, at approximately 11:45 PM.
