FM 699, TEXAS — Northbound and southbound FM 699 is fully closed to traffic from approximately 0.65 miles west of FM 2517 to 0.38 miles north of FM 2517 near Mile Marker 306. The full corridor shutdown is currently halting all through-traffic in both directions.
TxDOT crews have shut down the roadway to carry out extensive culvert replacement construction. A marked detour is actively in place, and traffic management personnel have posted detour signage to direct drivers around the work zone.
The closure took effect on October 7, 2026, and work is estimated to continue until approximately 5:00 p.m. on November 6, 2026, depending on weather and field conditions.
