WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — The right lane and exit ramp on westbound SH-183 (W Airport Freeway) are closed at Storey Road, extending between mile marker 0592 and mile marker 0590, from west of Loop 12 to east of SH-356.
Crews are actively on-site conducting required repairs to a highway crash attenuator. An official detour has been established to route traffic around the closed exit ramp.
The closure began at 9:00 PM on November 5, 2026, and TxDOT officials estimate that all lanes and the ramp will reopen by 5:00 AM on November 6, 2026.
Motorists and freight dispatchers are advised to anticipate the lane restriction, utilize designated detours, and exercise caution when traveling through the active work zone. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
