FM-770, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of FM-770 are entirely closed from mile marker 0446 to mile marker 0450 due to downed electrical lines. The roadway closure extends from 1.7 miles south of SH-105 to approximately 0.28 miles south of FM-834.
Utility and maintenance crews are on the scene working to de-energize and clear the fallen power lines from the travel lanes. No official detour has been established at this time.
The closure began late Wednesday night and TxDOT expects the incident to be cleared by approximately 2:45 AM on November 6, 2026.
Dispatchers and commercial drivers are advised to seek alternate routes around this corridor to prevent freight delays. We will update this report as more information becomes available.
