NORTHBOUND SH 6 FLYOVER, TEXAS — The northbound SH 6 flyover along Business SH 6 (BS0006S) is completely closed to traffic near mile marker 426 due to construction activity. The closure is situated just south of SH 6 and has shut down the main roadway lanes.
TxDOT personnel have implemented traffic control measures at the scene. All northbound traffic approaching the flyover is being detoured onto the frontage road to bypass the active work zone.
The roadway closure took effect on the morning of October 19, 2026, and is projected to remain in place until approximately 7:00 a.m. on October 30, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should account for detour routing along the frontage road and anticipate localized congestion in the area. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
