EASTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — The eastbound Interstate 30 collector-distributor exit ramp leading to southbound Interstate 45 is completely closed near mile marker 47. The ramp closure is restricted to nighttime hours and blocks all direct access from eastbound I-30 to southbound I-45 at the interchange.
Traffic management crews have implemented an active detour to route commercial drivers and motorists around the work zone. Signage and traffic control barriers are in place to direct vehicles toward alternative connectors.
The nightly ramp closures took effect on October 26, 2026, at 10:00 PM and are scheduled to conclude by November 2, 2026, at approximately 5:00 AM.
Truck drivers and freight dispatchers routing through the area should plan for detour routes and adjust travel schedules accordingly during overnight operational hours. We will update this report as TxDOT provides new information.
