NORTHBOUND SH-123, TEXAS — Northbound State Highway 123 is experiencing significant traffic disruptions at the Interstate 10 interchange near mile marker 486 following a high-severity incident reported early Thursday morning. The blockage impacts the roadway spanning immediately north and south of I-10, restricting normal travel flow through the junction.
Emergency personnel and clearance crews are on scene directing traffic and working to remove the obstruction. Due to the high-severity nature of the event, responders have restricted travel lanes while operations remain underway.
TxDOT estimates the roadway will be fully cleared and lanes reopened by approximately 6:00 a.m. local time.
Commercial truck drivers and commuters are advised to seek alternate routes around the SH-123 and I-10 corridor to bypass the scene. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
