SOUTHBOUND I-820, TEXAS — Southbound Interstate 820 is fully closed to traffic at the US-287 interchange (Mile Marker 33). All travel lanes are shut down from roughly 0.28 miles north of US-287 to just south of the junction.
Crews have closed the highway mainlanes and deployed an official marked detour. Motorists traveling through the area are instructed to follow the posted detour signs around the active work zone.
The overnight closure began at 11:00 PM on November 4, 2026, and is scheduled to remain in effect until approximately 6:00 AM on November 5, 2026.
