The main travel lanes of I-35E remain completely open, with closures restricted to the frontage road where work crews are sealing continuously reinforced concrete pavement.
Traffic management crews have posted detours to guide vehicles around the active work zones. Maintenance teams and utility equipment will be operating along various alternating frontage lanes throughout the designated work corridor.
This daytime-only maintenance project commenced at 9:00 a.m. on October 26, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude with full clearance by 3:00 p.m. on October 27, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and local motorists needing access to frontage road business corridors should expect reroutes and follow posted detour signs, or utilize the main lanes to bypass the area. We will update this report as conditions change or lanes reopen.
