FM-2301, TEXAS — Northbound and southbound lanes of FM-2301 are closed due to flooding over the roadway. Water has inundated low water crossings between Mile Marker 148 and Mile Marker 150, covering the stretch from 2.352 miles east of FM-1318 to 84 feet north of FM-1318.
TxDOT crews and local maintenance personnel have blocked the affected area to prevent motorists from entering the submerged crossing. No official detour has been signed, requiring travelers to seek independent alternate routes.
State transportation officials estimate conditions will remain hazardous until approximately 12:00 PM on October 26, 2026, depending on runoff rates and receding water levels.
