FM 126, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of FM 126 are completely closed to traffic approximately 1.3 to 1.6 miles north of FM 1812 near mile marker 282. The full roadway shutdown is required for structural construction on the FM 126 bridge over Noodle Creek.
TxDOT personnel have blocked the roadway and established an official signed detour route around the work zone. Barricades and directional signage are deployed to redirect all commercial and passenger vehicles away from the bridge structure.
The long-term closure is estimated to remain in place through October 30, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m. The roadway will remain impassable at this crossing for the duration of the project.
Commercial drivers and fleet dispatchers should plan alternative routes to avoid the construction area and follow all posted detour signs. We will update this report as additional details or schedule adjustments become available.
