EASTBOUND US-290, TEXAS — The eastbound US-290 mainlane exit ramp to William Cannon Drive is closed nightly for roadway installation and work zone safety operations. The closure affects traffic just east of SH-71 near mile marker 570 in Travis County.
TxDOT crews have established designated detours around the ramp closure to manage traffic flow. Motorists navigating the corridor should expect delays and watch for active signage and road crews in the work zone.
Work is restricted to overnight hours, with closures operating between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The operations are scheduled to conclude by 6:00 a.m. on November 3, 2026.
