FM-45, TEXAS — A major traffic advisory is in effect on both northbound and southbound FM-45 between Mile Marker 0362 and Mile Marker 0372. The affected corridor stretches from 0.23 miles north of FM-574 to 412 feet south of FM-502, causing substantial travel delays due to permitted wide load movements.
Traffic management crews and flag personnel are on-site actively directing vehicles through the corridor. A marked detour has been established, and all motorists and commercial drivers are required to follow the posted signage.
TxDOT records indicate the restriction began on January 13, 2025, and is projected to remain active through February 28, 2027, at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Trucking dispatchers and oversize load haulers are advised to plan alternative routes to avoid bottleneck conditions along this stretch of FM-45. We will update this report as conditions develop.
