I-30, TEXAS — The Cadiz Street bridge over Interstate 30 is completely closed to traffic due to an extensive bridge reconstruction project. The closure is located approximately 0.6 miles east of the I-35E interchange near mile marker 46, impacting both eastbound and westbound corridors.
Transportation crews have shut down the roadway and bridge access, directing all motorists onto marked detour routes. Heavy construction equipment and work crews are active in the area, requiring drivers to navigate around the closed structure.
The long-term construction closure took effect on January 13, 2026, and is scheduled to remain in place until approximately 8:00 AM on May 25, 2027, according to state transportation officials.
Commercial truck drivers and local commuters should plan alternate routes and follow all posted detour signage to prevent severe delays through the downtown Dallas corridor. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
