SH-16, TEXAS — Alternating lane closures are currently impacting both northbound and southbound traffic on State Highway 16 between mile marker 0402 and mile marker 0406. The restriction extends from 8.19 miles south of FM-3023 to 5.43 miles north of FM-500 due to active, slow-moving road repair operations.
Traffic management crews have implemented a one-way traffic control signal to guide alternating traffic through the work zone. Official detour routes have been established to help divert traffic around the high-severity delay area.
The maintenance project is scheduled to remain active through an estimated completion date of July 31, 2027, at 5:00 PM.
