FM-1458, TEXAS — All northbound and southbound main lanes on FM-1458 are completely closed near Mile Marker 0478, located approximately 0.42 miles south of Interstate 10. The full roadway closure is required to facilitate construction crews performing a complete replacement of the bridge and its approaches.
TxDOT has established active detours to route traffic around the construction zone. Both passenger vehicles and commercial trucks should anticipate travel delays throughout the affected section of the corridor.
The project and associated road closure are scheduled to continue through November 12, 2026, with an estimated reopening time of 6:30 p.m., subject to weather and project conditions.
Drivers and freight dispatchers are advised to consult detour routes in advance and allow extra transit time through the area. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
