WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — All westbound SH 121/SH-183 (Airport Freeway) TEXpress lanes will be fully closed from Main Street to Texas Boulevard 26 in Tarrant County. The closure affects the express corridor from west of SH-10 to east of SH-121 at mile marker 0582. The general-purpose main lanes will remain open.
Traffic will be detoured and maintained via the general-purpose lanes during the operation. Roadway crews and traffic control will be active along the closed express section throughout the overnight hours.
The overnight closure is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM on October 30, 2026, with all lanes expected to reopen by 6:30 AM on October 31, 2026.
Freight operators and dispatchers should anticipate merging delays where express traffic diverts into the main lanes and allow extra travel time through the corridor. We will update this report as TxDOT releases further updates or clears the closure.
