SOUTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — The entrance ramp linking general purpose traffic to the westbound/southbound TEXpress lanes on SH-121 (Airport Freeway) at Norwood Drive is closed. The overnight closure is situated between Mile Markers 0296 and 0294, just east of FM-3029 in Tarrant County.
Traffic management crews have implemented a detour route to maintain vehicle flow. All motorists intending to access the managed express lanes are directed to continue traveling along the general purpose mainlanes.
Work crews initiated the nighttime closure at 9:00 PM on October 30, 2026. The ramp is scheduled to reopen to normal traffic by 6:30 AM on October 31, 2026, prior to the peak morning rush.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers routing through this corridor should account for the ramp shutdown and plan lane positioning accordingly. We will update this report as TxDOT provides additional information.
