EASTBOUND US 70, TEXAS — A traffic crash has restricted eastbound US-70 near FM 1760, between mile markers 248 and 246. The incident, first reported at approximately 6:44 p.m., has forced the reduction of the roadway to a single travel lane.
Emergency response personnel are on the scene, and two-way traffic control is actively managing vehicle flow through the area. Motorists traveling in either direction must remain alert and be prepared to stop for alternating traffic.
Officials currently estimate that clearance crews will have the roadway reopened by approximately 8:15 p.m., though timing may change depending on vehicle removal and investigation efforts.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should account for intermittent stopping and localized delays along this stretch of US-70. We will update this report as more information becomes available.
