EASTBOUND I-820, TEXAS — The entrance ramp to the eastbound Interstate 820 general-purpose lanes at Iron Horse Boulevard is closed. The closure affects traffic near mile marker 21, situated between US-377 and SH-26.
A designated detour is in place to manage traffic flow around the work zone. Motorists and commercial drivers needing to access eastbound I-820 are being directed to use the next downstream entrance ramp at Rufe Snow Drive.
The overnight closure took effect at 7:30 p.m. on November 4 and is scheduled to reopen by 5:30 a.m. on November 5, ahead of the morning rush.
Drivers and freight dispatchers should account for the detour when routing through the area overnight. We will update this report if conditions change or if the closure is extended.
