SOUTHBOUND US-59, TEXAS — All southbound main lanes of US-59 are closed near FM-2025 at Mile Marker 464 following a traffic accident. The shutdown extends from approximately 0.31 miles north of FM-2025 to 655 feet south of the intersection, blocking all through traffic.
Emergency personnel and incident clearance teams are actively working on scene to investigate the crash and remove debris. No official detour has been designated, and traffic management personnel are handling movements approaching the closure.
TxDOT estimates that the closure will remain in place until approximately 9:00 PM while crews complete cleanup operations and reopen the lanes.
