NORTHBOUND US-83, TEXAS — A high-severity incident on Northbound US-83 has restricted travel between 0.88 and 1.38 miles north of FM-133, near mile marker 654. All traffic along this stretch is currently reduced to a single lane.
Two-way traffic control is actively in place to alternate vehicles through the single open travel lane. Roadway crews are on scene managing flow and working to clear the roadway.
TxDOT reports the restriction began at approximately 8:24 a.m. and is estimated to remain in place until around 1:45 p.m.
