US-57, TEXAS — Both eastbound and westbound lanes of US-57 are completely closed between FM-140 and Interstate 35 (Mile Markers 456 to 470) following a major crash reported at approximately 2:40 a.m.
Emergency personnel and TxDOT clearance crews are on scene actively working to secure the area and clear the roadway. No official detour has been designated at this time, resulting in a full shutdown of the affected stretch.
TxDOT currently estimates that the roadway will reopen by approximately 4:45 a.m., though timeline adjustments may occur depending on the progress of scene recovery and debris removal.
