SOUTHBOUND I-345, TEXAS — The southbound I-345 exit ramp connecting to westbound I-30 is closed between US-75 and I-30, spanning mile markers 0 to 1. The ramp closure completely restricts southbound IH 45/US-75 traffic attempting to transition onto westbound IH 30.
TxDOT crews have shut down the ramp and deployed a designated detour. Motorists and commercial carriers heading through the interchange are instructed to follow the marked detour route to access westbound I-30.
Work on the ramp began at 10:00 PM on October 24, 2026, and the closure is expected to remain in place until approximately 5:00 AM on October 26, 2026.
Drivers and freight dispatchers should account for the detour when routing through the downtown Dallas corridor. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
