NORTHBOUND I-45, TEXAS — A complete exit ramp closure is in place on northbound Interstate 45 at the interchange with westbound Interstate 30. The closure impacts the roadway between mile markers 284 and 283, extending from just south of State Highway 310 to the I-30 junction.
TxDOT operations have shut down the IH-45/75 northbound connector leading to westbound IH-30. A marked detour is actively in place, and highway crews have deployed directional signage to route traffic through the area.
The weekend closure took effect at 10:00 PM on October 24, 2026, and is projected to remain active until approximately 5:00 AM on Monday, October 26, 2026.
Freight dispatchers and commercial truck drivers traveling through the Dallas corridor should account for the detour or seek alternate regional routes to prevent schedule setbacks. We will update this report as TxDOT provides new information.
