LOOP 275, TEXAS — Hazardous winter conditions have prompted active detours and severe delays across east- and westbound Loop 275. The impact stretches from just south of Anderson Lane to Interstate 35, between mile markers 0436 and 0430, where ice and snow have accumulated across travel lanes, bridges, and overpasses.
TxDOT personnel are on-scene actively patrolling the corridor and plowing icy roadway surfaces. Due to the high severity of the icing and restricted travel conditions, authorities have established detours and are advising motorists to seek alternate routes.
TxDOT currently projects that monitoring, treatments, and operational impacts in this corridor may extend through April 22, 2027, at approximately 5:45 PM.
Dispatchers and commercial drivers should bypass this section of Loop 275 and reduce speeds when navigating surrounding elevated roadways. We will update this report as TxDOT provides further updates or road conditions improve.
