NORTHBOUND I-35, TEXAS — A severe traffic incident has created significant lane blockages on northbound Interstate 35 near Loop 353 at mile marker 145. The active closure spans from roughly 300 feet west of Loop 353 to 0.23 miles east, severely impeding northbound highway traffic.
Emergency response units and highway maintenance personnel are on scene working to address the hazard and reopen the corridor. No formal detour has been designated, but traffic flow in the immediate vicinity is heavily constrained.
TxDOT estimates clearance operations will continue through approximately 1:00 PM. Reopening times may adjust depending on ongoing scene management and final roadway cleanup.
