WESTBOUND US-67, TEXAS — A major roadway closure has shut down all westbound lanes on US-67 between mile marker 564 and mile marker 566, spanning from 1.87 miles east of FM-3100 to 0.24 miles east of FM-3100.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) units are actively operating a drone over the site as part of the on-scene response. Law enforcement officers are currently detouring all approaching traffic onto FM 1467. Officials state that one westbound lane will reopen once drone operations are completed.
TxDOT estimates the closure will continue until approximately 10:30 a.m., though reopening times remain subject to change based on clearance and investigation progress.
Motorists and freight dispatchers are advised to follow the posted detour along FM 1467 or utilize alternative routes through the corridor. We will update this report as soon as more details become available.
