EASTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — A high-severity traffic incident has forced the closure of the left lane on eastbound Interstate 30 between Mile Marker 219 and Mile Marker 223. The disruption spans from 0.56 miles east of State Highway 93 to just under a mile west of Interstate 369.
Highway response crews are actively managing the scene. Eastbound traffic is currently experiencing significant delays and is being detoured onto the frontage road to bypass the lane restriction.
According to transportation officials, the incident was first reported around 9:45 a.m., with clearance operations projected to continue until approximately 4:00 p.m.
Motorists and commercial fleet operators traveling through the corridor should anticipate heavy congestion and seek alternate routes when possible. We will update this report as soon as more information becomes available.
