NORTHBOUND US-287, TX — A traffic incident has forced the closure of the northbound left lane of US-287 in the area surrounding FM-268. The affected zone stretches from 0.4 miles west of FM-268 to 1.18 miles east of the junction, spanning mile markers 246 through 248.
Emergency personnel and highway crews are actively on scene working the incident zone. While no official detour has been established and traffic delays currently remain minimal, passing options are limited as movement is restricted to the open right travel lane.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, clearance operations are actively underway and the roadway is estimated to be fully reopened by 10:15 a.m.
