FM-892, TEXAS — Northbound and southbound lanes of FM-892 are completely closed to traffic between FM-3354 and FM-70 at Mile Marker 626. The full roadway closure is required to accommodate active construction work in the area.
TxDOT crews have blocked all travel lanes through the designated work zone. A detour is actively directing traffic around the closure point to minimize congestion.
Work began on the morning of October 26, 2026, at approximately 9:33 a.m. The roadway is estimated to reopen by 4:30 p.m. later today.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should reroute around this segment of FM-892 to avoid detours. We will update this report as soon as TxDOT confirms all lanes have reopened.
