NORTHBOUND I-35W, TEXAS — A travel advisory has been issued for northbound Interstate 35W near FM-67 at Mile Marker 10 due to a right lane and shoulder closure. Heavy traffic delays are currently reported from 0.21 miles south of FM-67 to 755 feet north of the intersection.
TxDOT crews and maintenance personnel are actively conducting guardrail repair work in the affected zone. While portions of the main lanes remain open to traffic, the closure of the right travel lane and shoulder has created a bottleneck for northbound travelers.
Repairs began on the afternoon of October 26, 2026, and the lane restrictions are currently estimated to remain in place until approximately 5:00 PM on October 27, 2026.
Motorists and freight dispatchers should plan for extra travel time, decrease speeds when approaching the work zone, and consider alternate routes to avoid congestion. We will update this report as further updates are provided.
