FM-604, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of FM 604 are fully closed approximately 2.5 miles north of FM 1178 at mile marker 314. The total roadway closure is due to scheduled construction work on the FM 604 bridge over South Prong Pecan Bayou.
Traffic management personnel have closed the bridge span to all through traffic. A signed detour route has been posted, and all motorists are being directed to follow the designated bypass around the construction area.
TxDOT officials anticipate the bridge closure will remain in place until approximately 5:00 PM on November 13, 2026, pending completion of the project.
Commercial drivers and local travelers should adjust route plans in advance to accommodate the detour. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
