FM-3002, TEXAS — Both eastbound and westbound lanes of FM-3002 (Lone Oak Road) are completely closed to traffic approximately 1.8 miles west of FM-3442, spanning from Mile Marker 0564 to Mile Marker 0566. The closure is in effect due to an impassable bridge along the route.
Traffic management personnel have implemented an official detour route for all vehicles, including commercial truck traffic. Drivers are directed to bypass the closure by rerouting via IH-35, FM 922, and FM 372.
The long-term closure is currently estimated to remain in place through January 31, 2027, at approximately 5:00 PM while bridge conditions are addressed.
Motorists and freight dispatchers are advised to adjust regional travel schedules accordingly and anticipate minor delays along the detour routes. We will update this report as additional updates become available.
